    Thinking of Them, Reduces Their & Your Power:


    Can you see how charged, the emotional batteries of people around you are? How can we see that? How to make out how charged or discharged, people's emotional batteries are? From their smile? A lot of people don't smile at all. What to do then? How to make out if there battery is charged or not? From their behaviour? What aspects of behaviour? Because you should be able to check at what level our battery is. And at what level are the peoples batteries are. 


    In whose company we need to spend more time. And with whom we should just keep it down to business. If we get entangled with them ...? With which battery can be afford to get entangled? With which battery we just can't afford to get entangled? We need to be with people and work with them, but never get entangled. If we get entangled with the discharged battery Entanglement means argument and disagreements on a daily basis If we entangle with someone in this way It doesn't take time for our battery to go down. It is simple science. 


    You connect a battery with a discharged battery. You connect a battery with a low battery. And you will not know why you are not the same. Why you are not as happy as you used to be. Why you are not feeling light or contented. Why you experience fear or anger in trivial issues Why you feel jealous about someone Why there is no contentment despite having everything in life. These are all signs of a low battery. And now we are living in a time where a collective consciousness is not charging themselves. Whether they are at home, at office, or elsewhere There is a collective energy. When we go to a Temple, Mosque Gurudwara or an Ashram We feel good in that environment. 



    What is the feel good factor there? It's the energy of that place. How has that energy got created? Over a period of time. You have come here. Meditation has been happening here for the last 15 to 16 years. So you don't need to do anything. You will feel good the moment you enter this place. How many of you are feeling good? You don't even know the reason but you feel good. The feel good factor is that we have entered a space of higher energy. The moment you step out of the gate, the energy becomes different. Not even the road. You just stepped out of the gate and you will feel a different energy. 


    Once you reach the road, again the energy will be different. And then when you reach the highway, energy is different again. Just like your feeling good upon coming here Everyday when we step into places where majority of them are not taking care of themselves They are emotionally discharged Their emotional state will certainly affect us. But we are unable to make out that effect. Why we don't realise is because we go there everyday and hence that place has become our comfort zone. 



    So we don't even realise that place is affecting us. Only when we come to a place which is completely different from our daily routine Only then we realise this is a higher energy. Likewise people who live here constantly do not realise it. Because every day we carry this energy. Similarly when we go to a place everyday, we do not realise whether it is charging us or discharging us. How to check? Let's check our emotional health. Let rank our emotional health from 1 to 10. 1 means the lowest emotional health which means the battery is discharged. And 10 means the highest. Sit in silence for a minute and check how you would rate yourself.

    On a scale of 1 to 10.


     Don't just assign a number randomly but check the criteria. First let's identify the criteria, so we know whether I am at 10, 5, or 1. Each of us will come out with 3 criteria for decision. Just like we do for Physical health - whether we are healthy, average healthy, or weak. 


    Same for emotional health - do we have perfect health, average health, or emotionally weak. Select three factors and choose the rating for yourself. And with those three factors, check the emotional health of people around you. People at home, at workplace, in your friends circle. How is everyone's emotional state? It doesn't matter what number you have assigned. Important is that we start paying attention to emotional health. Show that if we know that we are at 9, we will take ourselves to 10. If we are at 5, even then we take ourselves to 10. And even if we are at 2, we will take ourselves to 10. 


    At least we should know where we are. And know that we need to charge ourselves. What is the criteria for checking my emotional health? One is that when a situation came, how I react or respond. When we came into interaction with someone, how did we react or respond to their behaviour. That is one criteria, of how we respond to situations and people. So how will the person who gets a rating of 10 be? Which means no matter the situation or the other person's behaviour, how will their response be? Just look at the picture and visualise, closing your eyes. 


    Bring the latest challenge faced in life, on the screen of your mind. It could be something that happened at office. It need not be the biggest of situations. Someone behaved wrongly, or there was a crisis. How will someone with an emotional health of 10 respond? Look at that person or look at yourself doing it. This is a way I will respond if I am at emotional health of 10. 


    Also see how a person with emotional health of one, react. Could you visualise? How will someone with low emotional health react? He gets disturbed and agitated. He starts blaming. Write down the reactions. First is the person gets disturbed and agitated. Their way of speaking changes. 


    Second is that they start blaming either the situation or they blame someone for their state of mind. What else will someone who is emotionally low do? Very good. They start thinking of the worst. They cannot see anything good coming out. They start thinking and imagining the worst. 


    Because the think of the worst, they start fearing it. Simple example is if a child has not reached home, and has not called up, we start things of the worst. Secondly suppose we go for a blood test or a medical check up, we start thinking of the worst. And then by thinking and imagining the worst, we keep fearing. Suggest one state of disturbance, and rest everything will follow. On the other hand, one state of calmness We will not blame anyone. 


    What will they do instead of thinking of the worst? They think - There must be some benefit even in this. This has happened for my benefit. Someone emotional health of 10 will say - There must be some benefit in this. This has happened for my good. Someone with low emotional health will say - My destiny is ill-fated. This is why I am facing challenges one after the other. Inner conversation and way of thinking. Once this begins, what all does it affect? 


    Disturbance is here. It's okay if we just feel disturbed for five minutes and then we are fine. But if we get disturbed for the majority of the time and on a daily basis Or if it becomes a way of living, where all does it affect? On the body. Why on the body? Because the mind will first affect the body. What does the traffic next? People around us. Which means our relationship get affected. This means whatever I feel inside, my body will accordingly get created. My relationships will get created that way.


     Will it affect my work? It does affect. Does it affect our world? It does affect. So emotional health is equal to Physical health. Is equal to social health. Is equal to environmental health. Is equal to professional health. Is equal to financial health. So emotional health is important, isn't it? Even if the situation is a crisis and even if it doesn't have a solution, if someone is stable here What will the loss be limited to? Suppose someone lost a job, or support someone's business finished completely.


     It is a huge loss. But the last should be limited to that much alone. But if that loss creates a loss here Then the loss in our emotional state, leads to a loss in physical health, loss in relationships After losing all these things, we will not have the power to rectify that one business loss. The outside world is not in our control. What is in our control? Only the inner world. Whatever life brings in front of us is not in our control But how we respond to that is totally in my control. 


    Does happiness depends on what life brings to me? Or does happiness depend on how I respond to what life brings to me? On how I respond. So then it depends on me. If happiness depends on me Then health depends on me, my relationships depend on me Then my work depends on me. Then my world depends on me. How much time am I taking care of that me? The energy equation flows from inside to outside. This inside is the seed of our life. It is from this seed that the tree of our life grows. If the seed is healthy and if we are nourishing the seed daily One is that the seed is healthy.


     The second is that we should water the seed daily. Then the tree will be healthy, fruits will be good, and flowers will be beautiful. But because people are not taking care of the health of the seed Emotional health rating is 7, 6, 5, 4 means the seed is not very healthy isn't it? And we are not even watering it daily. Even if an average seed is watered daily, it creates miracles. But if a seed at 10 is not watered everyday, what happens to the tree? So we need to remember - where is the seed and where is the tree? One mistake we made the equation is We said when the tree is healthy, this seed becomes happy. So over the last few years we are working very hard on the tree. 


    We drink Bisleri water, we eat organic food, we exercise at the gym. Our parents and grandparents did none of it. But their seed was more healthy than our seed. So we are able to see that distinct difference. What has happened in the past twenty to thirty years is Suddenly a lot has happened outside at a very fast pace. A lot of it was very good. But we got so attracted and so busy with it That we said we have no time to water the seed. Once we stop watering the seed Gradually what happened to the tree? 


    Today we have more facilities, more comforts, excellent technology. But we have problems in our health, in a relationships, and we know what we are doing to the environment. Having got so much, our life should have become much better than earlier generations. We should have been having a better quality of life than our parents or grandparents. Today we say the treatments which are available were not present before. Yes, they were a lot. But the illnesses that exist today, also did not exist earlier. 


    Now technology is so advanced, that no matter what the illness, there is a treatment. But we have never caused to check how much diabetes has increased, cancer has increased How many children suffer from them How much depression has increased We are not checking all that. We just talked about all the facilities we have today. But while taking care of the tree, if we do not pay attention to the seed The tree has started showing effect now.


     If the tree starts wilting even slightly, what should we do? Even at your home, if you lock the house for 3 days, what happens to the plants in it? If no one watered your plants while you were away, what happens to the plant? It shows signs of wilting. You need to water it immediately. But if you say you don't have the time to water it even on the third day The plant will start showing signs. 


    What are the signs that our tree is getting affected? Our mental health, emotional health, physical health And most importantly, our relationships. If you want to see what what it affects the maximum, look at the fruits, which means your children. Children are the fruits of the tree. See the direct effect in terms of emotional health of your children today.
