According to Comic Natalie, One-Punch Man Season 3 will premiere in October 2025, with a release date yet to be announced. J.C. Staff is back to animate the season, and a new trailer featuring fan-favorite characters like Saitama, Genos, Tatsumaki, Fubuki, and others has been previewed. Tomohiro Suzuki continues to compose the series. He is joined by fellow One-Punch Man Season 3 staff members Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda, and Ryosuke Shirakawa, who are credited with character design, and Makoto Miyazaki for music. Atsushi Fujishiro, the series' producer, recently provided a production update on the third season and the spring 2025 anime, Danjō no Yūjō wa Seiretsu Suru? (Iya, Shinai!!). He shared that the studio was steadily making progress on the series; this was followed by a worrying update from character designer Kubota, who suggested that "there might be some problems" without further explanation.
One-Punch Man Season 3 continues the adaptation of the manga of the same name, written by ONE and illustrated by popular artist and animator Yusuke Murata, and serialized in Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump. Crunchyroll streamed both previous seasons of the One-Punch Man anime, officially describing it: "Saitama started out as a hero just for fun. After three years of 'special' training, he became so powerful that he could defeat opponents with a single punch. Now, with his loyal cyborg disciple Genos, Saitama is ready to begin his official duties as a professional hero, working with the Hero Association.
However, the frequency of demonic appearances is increasing, and it seems as if the prophecy of the great seer Madame Shibabawa about the Earth's destruction is coming true. Amidst this crisis, the 'hero hunter' Garou makes his appearance."
